Copenhagen Corporate Finance has acted as the exclusive financial advisor for AidanN ApS related to AidanN's AI-driven investment fund AidanN US Equities ESG A/S,
AidanN US Equities ESG invests in stocks with an ESG profile contained within the S&P 500 stock index. The fund selects stocks based on quantitative analyses driven by artificial intelligence (AI), enabling the analysis of large amounts of market data to make data-driven decisions.
The purpose of the investment fund is to minimize portfolio volatility (risk) while achieving a positive annual return each year. This is achieved by maintaining both long and short positions selected through technical analyses, trends, and trading patterns. Through backtesting, this strategy has consistently delivered a better annual return than the S&P 500 with significantly lower risk and lower maximum drawdown over a period.
The company behind AidanN is led by founders CEO Nicolai Winding and CTO Thomas Zheng, the latter based in San Diego, USA, along with his team of developers. The day-to-day management is supported by a competent board with experience in the financial sector, including Thorleif Krarup (Former CEO of Nordea), Niels-Ulrik Mousten (Board member in PFA, Nykredit Invest, among others), Georg Andersen (former director of Nykredit Markets), and Erik Urskov (CEO of Copenhagen Corporate Finance).
Beyond delivering a high risk-adjusted return, AidanN aims to make investments that contribute to sustainable economic growth. Therefore, AidanN US Equities ESG follows a screening process ensuring all investments meet the fund's ESG requirements. Consequently, the fund does not invest in weapons, tobacco, or thermal coal, and it avoids companies not adhering to the UN Global Compact goals covering human rights, the environment, labor standards, business ethics, and anti-corruption.
